Day 1: Hue – Dong Ha(L,D)
Quang Tri Citadel, the Ai Tu Airfield, and the Lew Puller School. Then explore Leatherneck Square, including the Cam Lo Bridge, Con Thien (the Hill of Angels), Gio Linh FSB Forward (Alpha 2), and the Bridge at Dong Ha. Visit the Peace Bridge over the Ben Hai river, the river that was the only true physical demarcation between North and South Vietnam . Continue to Vinh Moc tunnels, the refuge of over 400 people during the bombing operation “ Rolling Thunder “. R&R at Cua Tung beach, once crowned “ the Queen of beaches “. Back to Dong Ha. Dinner and stay overnight in Dong Ha.

( 2 days- 1 night )
Day 1: Hue to Khe Sanh(L,D)
Pick-up in Hue, head north on Highway One toward Dong Ha, stopping at sites along the way, such as Quang Tri City, the Ai Tu Airfield, and the Lew Puller School. Continue to Dong Ha, the former headquaters of the 9th Marine, head west on Route 9. The first stop is Camp Carroll, the Marine artillery plateau. Have a brief stop at the Rockpile. Continue to Khe Sanh village, arrive at Khe Sanh Combat Base and spend the balance of the afternoon. After lunch break at Khe Sanh village. Keep heading toward the Laotian border to the Lang Vei Special Forces Camp, overrun in the first ever NVA tank assault. Co Roc Mountain soars to the heavens just across the border. Stay overnight at Lao Bao boder.

Tour Itinerary:
Pick-up in Hue, head north on Highway One toward Dong Ha, stopping at sites along the way, such as Highway of Horror, Quang Tri Citadel, the Ai Tu Airfield. Continue to Dong Ha, the former headquaters of the 9th Marine, head west on Route 9. The first stop is the Rockpile, a look-out of Mrine Corps. Continue to Khe Sanh village, visit Khe Sanh Combat Base . Lunch in Dong Ha. After lunch, head North to visit the Peace Bridge over the Ben Hai river at the middle of the DMZ ( Demilitarized Zone ), the river that was the only true physical demarcation between North and South Vietnam .
